Message From COO
Welcome to APAFS
The Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) was founded on a vision—a vision of a regional coalition dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations in the responsible management of trust funds. What began as an ambitious idea has evolved into a trusted fiduciary resource for the Asia-Pacific region. Today, our mission remains steadfast, but the challenges and responsibilities have grown exponentially.
Just as the concept of national security has expanded, so too has the role of fiduciaries. We are no longer just “Managers of Trust” —we are “Guardians of Trusts”. This shift is more than just words; it carries profound implications. Effective corporate governance today extends beyond financial performance—it demands adherence to the highest ethical standards, transparency, and accountability. As fiduciaries, we must safeguard the assets entrusted to us with the same diligence as we would our own.

APAFS bridges education with regional insight, offering specialized training and development programs tailored to the unique challenges of fiduciaries in the Asia-Pacific. We bring global best practices to our region, equipping our members with:
- Cutting-edge fiduciary education and training.
- Industry-leading insights on investment management and corporate governance.
- Practical tools to assess and enhance fiduciary performance.
- A collaborative network of professionals managing over $3 billion USD in assets across member nations.
At APAFS, we take pride in recognizing and respecting the rich cultural diversity of Micronesia and the broader Asia-Pacific, ensuring our initiatives are not just globally informed but also regionally relevant.
For those who aspire to shape the financial future of their communities, we invite you to join us in strengthening fiduciary standards across the region. On behalf of the APAFS Board of Governors, thank you for your interest and commitment.
